Typology: Residential Interior Application: Interior of a house for two families Area: 550 m² Client: Private Style: Modernism, Minimalism
2022, Greece
A modern, large monolithic house. The first floor is an open-plan space featuring a living area with a large central sofa, a combined kitchen and dining zone, a guest bathroom, and a metal staircase leading to the second floor. The flooring, walls, and ceilings are finished with KOURASANIT®, a Greek manufacturer of Roman-style “koursanit” plaster—decorative and hydraulic solutions.
The kitchen and diningarea are integrated. A standout feature of the kitchen, similar to our other Greek project (the guesthouse), is the stainless steel facades.
The kitchen island doubles as a dining table. The tabletop is made of glass with a dichroic film. Thanks to the film, light passing through the surface creates multicolored reflections. The kitchen island itself is crafted from stainless steel and features a concealed storage system.
The guest bathroom is designed in our classic color palette: shades of black with an accent of yellow.
The storage system consists of open shelves with mirrored sliding doors, concealing a niche for organizing cosmetics and self-care products.
The second floor accommodates bedrooms, children’s rooms, and bathrooms.
We maintained the concept of open spaces by separating the bedrooms and bathrooms with a column-style partition wall. On one side of the column is the sleeping area, where the partition wall doubles as a headboard with a stainless steel frame. On the other side of the column is the bathroom area, with integrated plumbing and fixtures for sinks and faucets.
